Minister 'amazed' at Viarsa verdict

THE AUSTRALIAN government could be made to pay damages of US$10 million after the captain and four crew of the Uruguayanregistered longliner Viarsa 1 was acquitted of illegal fishing over two years after their chase and arrest.
