Pan Ocean Aquaculture, a newly formed fish farming operation based in the Netherlands, is hoping to make Morocco the site of its first fully submersible fish farm project.
The group has been active in China for several years, where it installed a huge offshore farm that is now used for farming croaker, a popular fish in the domestic Chinese market.
The main contractor for the China-based offshore project was Fujian Shipbuilding International Group Corporation and it wa financed by a government-owned investment fund from Fujian Province.
