Tilapia byproducts carrying the sector
Industry expert Israel Snir had a lot to say during the American Tilapia Alliance session on Wednesday -- namely about the ways some farmers may be misleading themselves.
"The fillet is not enough to carry the industry," Snir said, adding that those companies who do not see the value in tilapia byproducts may not last for very long.
